Dallas Black Marriage Day

We are so excited that you have joined with us to help celebrate strong marriages in our community. This year’s celebration will be held on March 22, 2009 at the Orion Ballroom in Oak Cliff.

The 2008 celebration  took place at the African American Museum at Dallas Fair Park on March 30th. Last year we were honored to have the founder of Black Marriage Day Nisa Muhammed and Leon McCowan with the Adminstration for Children and Families as our special guests.

Congratulations to our 2008 Dallas Hall of Fame Winners Michael & Juanita Lee and Newlywed Winners Gerald & Rosalind Gooden!

Make sure to put March 22nd, 2009 on your calendar and come celebrate all of the wonderful couples that have been nominated to the 2008 Hall of Fame!
